1. When can I use a Jumping Castle?

 

Our units are perfect for any event that children will attend. Most children love to jump and/or slide and will not be able to get enough of the Jumping Castle. It will provide hours of fun for any event.

2. How much room do I need to rent the Jumping Castle?

Depending on the jumping castle you want, we need at least two feet clearance all around the jumping castle. Most yards will accommodate our 13’ x13’ jumping castle.

3. What type of surfaces can the Jumping Castle be set up on?

The jumping castle can be set up on almost any flat surface.  We protect the jumping castle by placing a heavy duty tarp under the jumping castle to help prevent puncturing.  Any sharp objects or rocks will still need to be removed from the area where set up is going to occur.

4. Is it possible to set up the Jumping Castle indoors?

Yes, the jumping castles can be set up indoors as long as the ceiling allows for the clearance of the jumping castle roof.  The ceiling must have a clearance of at least 18’.

5. Do you set up in parks?

Yes, some Association parks. We do not have all our city park permits yet. We can’t set up in any Tucson City park at this time. If you would like to set up in an Association Park, you may have to use a generator, which we can provide for an extra fee.

6. What safety features do the Jumping Castles have?

All our jumping castles are equipped with a safety step, safety net at the entrance, and a safety escape hatch.  The safety step is used encase a younger rider slides out of the unit at the door.  The safety net is placed to help prevent riders from being able to fall through the entrance of the unit. The safety escape hatches are located on the top of the units on both sides.  Encase the unit deflates for some unknown reason all riders may exit the unit through these openings.

7. How long does the set up take, i.e. Jumping Castle and tents?

This depends on the size of the jumping castle itself, but in general it usually only takes 10 - 15 Minutes. The tents are a little more complicated. We can usually have one 10’ x 20’ tent set up in 1 hour.

8. Can I pick the equipment up at your location and set it up myself?

No. For safety reasons, all of Fun N the Sun equipment must be set up and taken down, by a representative of Fun N the Sun. Because of the size and weight of some of our jumping castles (some are 250lbs and up), no customer pickups are permitted for this type of equipment.  If you wish, you may pick up tables and chairs from our location. We would rather give you peace of mind and deliver them for you, just leave the work to us.

9. Who sets up the Jumping Castles and tents?

We will provide the individual(s) for the setup of all jumping castles and tents at no additional charge.

10. How is the Jumping Castle secured to the ground?

Fun N the Sun uses 12” stakes to secure the Jumping Castles and Tents to the ground.  It is imperative that you check to make sure that there are no underground water or utility lines surrounding the perimeter of the equipment.  Fun N the Sun resumes no responsibility when it comes to damages assets from using stakes to secure the equipment.

11. Will you provide an attendant to monitor the Jumping Castle?

We can provide an attendant at a rate of $12 per hour to monitor the safety of all riders and ensure all rules are being followed.

12. What is the minimum amount of time we can rent the equipment?

We rent out the equipment for a minimum of five hours.  We also offer all day rentals with advance notice. You can book the jumping castle for less hours but we will charge you the full rental fee.

13. How late in the evening can I have the equipment?

8p.m. is the last pick up for all jumping castles.

14. Do you have a predetermined rental schedule?

Yes. There are two different times the castles are available: 1st scheduled hours are from 9a.m.-2p.m. and the 2nd scheduled hours are from 3p.m.-8p.m. Of course we are flexible on the hours. Just book your needed equipment ahead of time so that we may schedule ourselves accordingly.

15. Do you require a deposit?

At this time a Deposit is not required.

16. Do you charge a delivery fee?

Yes, a very small fee is added depending on the distance of the delivery location. Call for fee schedule.

17. When do I pay?

We will collect payment on the day of your event. We accept cash, and checks (made payable to "Fun N the Sun, LLC"). There will be a $35 fee added to each returned check.

18. Are your Jumping Castles clean and how often?

Yes. All our jumping castles are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each use. Being parents ourselves, we understand the importance of making sure that your children have a clean, sanitized, and safe environment to play in. In addition to cleaning, we also safety check all equipment before we leave the site. A check list is also left with the customer.

19. What areas do you serve?

Fun N the Sun serves all of Tucson and surrounding areas.

20. How far in advance should I make my reservations?

Please make your reservations as soon as possible. Jumping Castles are very popular and sometimes we are booked up weeks in advance.

21. What are my responsibilities as the renter of the Jumping Castle?

A responsible adult must be assigned to supervise the riders while the jumping castle is in use.  The adult must know all safety rules and also be the enforcer of these rules. The renter assumes all responsibility for the safety of all riders and the care of the equipment with signing the Release of liability.

Powersource

All of the items require a power source. The standard household outlet (110) will be fine.  Please keep in mind that Fun N the Sun will supply a 100 foot extension cord when thinking of the placement of the jumping castle.  Note - Be sure to test your outdoor outlets, you may not be aware they don't work until it’s time for your party.  If you are having your party at a park please check on the power source. We can supply a generator for an additional charge. Note -Please let us know before delivery if a generator will be needed.

Rental Agreements/Receipts

Each customer is asked to sign a “Rental Agreement”/Release of Liability and a Safety Instructions check list at the time the equipment is set up. A receipt will be provided for your rental cost. Upon recovery of the equipment the checklist will be collected and filed for our records.

Weather / Rain Policy

Our Castles have roofs on them. We will call you on the morning of your party to confirm your reservation, at this time you have the option of canceling your order. If you decide to proceed with your order in such weather conditions, once the equipment is delivered, there will be no refunds should the weather conditions consist of heavy rains or high winds.   Instructions on how to protect the equipment from the weather will be included in your check list. Reminder you are responsible for all equipment delivered to you.
